AstaTech knows that IP is your most valuable asset. Ownership of IP is based on a mutually agreeable contract with regard to each project. Some basic principles are as follows:
Any work performed by AstaTech and based on the technology package provided by the client belongs to the client. (Ex: Custom manufacturing)
Ownership rights to the results of technical work paid for by the client belong to the client. (Ex: FTE outsourcing)
IP ownership rights to work paid for by the client and that incorporate AstaTech proprietary technology will be determined according to individual contract agreements.
Any work performed by AstaTech that is not paid for in a contractual R&D working arrangement belongs to AstaTech.
